Photographer Sydnee Lubar began her business and portfolio as a high school student in Washington, D.C. While growing her event and corporate clients, she also focused on her more creative endeavors. Specifically, after wearing a back brace to support her scoliosis for five years, she used her photography skills and entrepreneurial mindset to use art as advocacy in a documentary photography book of 27 female patients of all ages, titled SPINES: The Art of Scoliosis. To date, Sydnee has donated over $35,000 to The National Scoliosis Foundation for scoliosis research and medical treatment development and has been awarded Young Spinal Champion of the Year by The Spinal Research Foundation (SRF) for her work.

During her four years as an undergraduate student at the University of Michigan, studying business and entrepreneurship, Sydnee also Co-Founded Focus Headshots on campus for students. Through this venture, Sydnee further developed both her creative and financial interests which supported her post-graduate plans.

Today, Sydnee lives in NYC as a Private Banking Analyst at J.P. Morgan and continues to enjoy her passions as a photographer and entrepreneur.
